PDF Converter — Privacy Policy

Overview

🔒 Most conversions are performed entirely offline on your device. Only PDF → Word and PDF → Excel conversions require sending your file to a temporary server for processing.

Your privacy is our priority. PDF Converter does not require registration, does not track your activity, and does not store your files beyond the conversion process.

Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information.

No registration or account required
No email addresses, names, or phone numbers collected
No device identifiers (IMEI, Android ID, etc.) collected
No location tracking
No browsing history monitoring

File Processing

PDF Converter processes files in two ways:

Local (offline) conversions — Image → PDF, Word → PDF, Excel → PDF, PowerPoint → PDF, HTML → PDF, PDF → Images, PDF → HTML. All processing happens entirely on your device. No files leave your device.
Server-based conversions — PDF → Word and PDF → Excel. Your selected file is sent to our conversion server at aigrator-pdf-converter.hf.space for processing. The server processes the file and returns the result. Files are automatically and permanently deleted from the server immediately after conversion completes.

📁 Only the file you explicitly select for conversion is transmitted. We do not access any other files on your device.

Local Data Storage

The following data is stored locally on your device only:

Settings: Your preferences (filename pattern, theme)
Purchase status: Whether you have removed ads (stored locally)

This data never leaves your device and is only used to provide a personalized experience.

Advertising

The free version of the app displays advertisements. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. You can permanently remove all ads with a one-time in-app purchase (Remove Ads).

AdMob may collect anonymous data (advertising ID, device information) according to their own privacy policy
After purchasing ad removal, no advertisements are displayed

Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services:

Google AdMob — for displaying advertisements in the free version
Google Play Billing — for processing in-app purchases (Remove Ads)
Hugging Face Spaces — for server-based PDF → Word and PDF → Excel conversions

These services have their own privacy policies. Google's privacy policy can be found at policies.google.com/privacy.

Permissions

PDF Converter requires the following permissions:

Internet — Required for server-based conversions (PDF → Word, PDF → Excel) and displaying advertisements. Local conversions work without internet.
Storage / Media access — Required to select and export files on your device.

Children's Privacy

PDF Converter does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. Since we do not collect any personal data, this policy applies to all users regardless of age.

Data Security

All file transfers to our conversion server are encrypted via HTTPS. Server-processed files are deleted immediately after conversion. No personal data is retained or stored on any server.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
